44Shears is bringing the highest quality mail-n sharpening to the masses. All shears are Diamond polished to perfection and finished off with a CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) inside edge. 

All shears undergo a 12 step process for sharpening.

How do you get your shears to 44Shears?

  1. Add the quantity of shears you need serviced to cart. 
  2. Upon order confirmation, we immediately dispatch a Prepaid Shear Package to your address. (No extra fees or shipping costs for the customer) 

Extensive Damage Repair 

  1. Just like a color correction a full restore on a shear takes more time than a Sharpening!
  2. If your shear was brutalized by the previous sharpener an additional fee will be added to bring the shear back to a factory edge. 
  3. This is based off the honor system guys... if I do get a shear in with extensive damage and you did not pay for the repair fee I will sharpen "as is" or consult with you before sharpening! 

What's included in the package?

  1. A protective case for you to put your shears in.
  2.  Another PREPAID package for you to put your shears in and drop in your mailbox! (No further shipping actions required!)

What's the turnaround? 

  1. Once the shears are shipped out to us the 10 business day clock starts ticking for you to receive your shears back. 

How do I know my shears are going to be sharpened correctly and does 44Shears have any sharpening certifications?

  1. All sharpening is guaranteed for 30 days after sharpening.
  2. Every shear is inspected 3 different times before being shipped back to you.
  3. 44Shears is Shark Fin Certified and ISSA (International Scissors Sharpening Association) Certified!
